Cats and Dogs

I don't want to compare cats and dogs, of course, because that would be like comparing, you know, chewies and dog bones. You just don't want to have to choose. A sensible creature likes 'em both.

But I'll say one thing for my species. We're good for a nice, long walk. Love 'em, in fact. And we can definitely be counted on to keep up the pace. No impulsive disappearance for a little catnap in the first cozy bit of sun like - okay, I said I wouldn't compare. But we keep the pace, we dogs do.

Well, that is, until we find some good grass to chew on.

Or a smell that's really, really interesting, the kind that makes you look like you're solving some advanced mathematical calculation all in your head.

Which who's to say we're not?

Of course, that kind of stopping and starting can make a dog look like he isn't keeping up the pace, like I said dogs do. So. Well... well, maybe dogs and cats aren't so different. Did I say we were different? Truth of the matter is we pretty much enjoy the same things. Sniffin' and snoozin' and explorin' and cuddlin' - we have a lot more in common than the average two-legger thinks.
